10 Higher Order Constant Coefficient

Higher Order Constant Coefficient

\[ y^{(n)} + \dots + py' + qy = 0 \]

Solve using the same method as Constant Coefficient

\[ m^n + \dots + pm + q = 0 \]

For 3 equal roots,

\[ y(x) = e^{mx}(c_1 + c_2 x + c_3 x^2) \]
